Trading Terms and Conditions

Payment Payment in full is required at the end of the hire period unless an established credit account has been agreed. For established credit accounts full payment is required 15 days after receipt of Invoice (which are made at the end of each calendar month.) Any other terms have to be agreed and confirmed in writing by John Bird. All cheques must be made out to John E. Bird.

Bookings All bookings are not binding until confirmed by email from John Bird.

Cancelations Any cancellation within 24 hours of the hire commencing will be subject to a charge of 60% of the total invoice. A no-show by the client will result in a charge of 100% of the total invoice.

Liability John Bird or employees accepts no responsability or liability in the event of any loss or damage to client's property or luggage whilst the hirer is not with the vehicle at the time of the loss or damage. In the event of an incident John Bird reserves the right to provide a similar vehicle of equivalent standard to the one booked. We aim to provide a similar vehicle, but in the case of an emergency if a different vehicle is provided an adjustment to the hire cost will be made. On airport or seaport transfers adequate travelling time is quoted by email and John Bird or his employees accept no responsability for delays beyond their control i.e. Motorway closures and diversions caused by major incidents.
